NHL Free Agency is underway, and teams have to make tough decisions on who to add to their payroll in hopes of improving their roster.
Past results, recent trends, and personal traits will be taken into account as all 30 teams look to add the player(s) they need to become serious Stanley Cup contenders.
Interpreting statistics, determining a player's potentials and background checks take a lot of time and effort. To make things easier, teams could just look at each players' WAGs and determine whether or not each NHL star's significant other will generate the most interest in their team.
