2011 NHL All-Star Game Mock Draft: Who’s First? Who’s Last?

Tomorrow night, the NHL will bring us something that has never been seen before: The NHL All-Star Fantasy Draft.

Instead of East vs. West this year, the NHL has decided that they will have a Fantasy Draft to determine the teams.

The Detroit Red Wing's Nicklas Lidstrom and Carolina Hurricanes' Eric Staal are the Team captains and they will pick their teams this Friday. Lidstrom is joined by the Chicago Blackhawks' Patrick Kane and Tampa Bay Lightning's Martin St.Louis, while Stall is joined by the Washington Capitals' Mike Green and the Vancouver Canucks Ryan Kesler.

The NHL is hyping the draft up by saying Ovechkin and Crosby(before he pulled out) could play together. They've also added the brother vs. brother gimmick in terms of the Staals and the Sedin twins.

While some people I've talked to don't like this new concept, I believe it adds a little bit of intrigue into a game that hasn't really mattered much in past years.

I know I'll be watching this Friday to see what happens. Since I'm watching it on TSN, I know I'll have to deal Pierre McGuire try to make sense of the picks and I guess I'm about to do the same thing but I t ...
