Chicago skies were overcast Wednesday morning and Bulls fans woke to some dismal news. Miami had claimed Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh.

It seemed the team had lost its chances in the most riveting summer of NBA history.

The thoughts of Bosh, a ferocious four-man who could compliment Joakim Noah so perfectly, were crushed. The dreams of Wade, the Chicago-raised shooting guard returning to pursue a championship for his home, were shattered.

And then came the nightmares.

One of the favorites to come out of free agency on top, the Bulls seemed to have it all: the big-city market, the attractive roster, and the rich history of the organization. Additionally, after playing the right cards to open up financial space for big- names, including a move that dealt with Captain Kirk, it seemed audacious that the team would come out empty-handed.

Wake up Chicago fans, everything's going to be okay. It may not be the way you hoped, but your team became better on this seemingly-doomed Wednesday.
