Pablo Prigioni Injury: Updates on Clippers Guard’s Face and Return

Los Angeles Clippers guard Pablo Prigioni left Friday's game against the Orlando Magic with a face injury, and it's uncertain when he'll return to the court.

Prigioni Diagnosed with Facial Contusion Friday, Feb. 5 The Clippers announced their backup point guard has been listed as "doubtful to return."

Dan Woike of the Orange County Register noted Prigioni collided with either Magic guard Victor Oladipo or Clippers guard Jamal Crawford while coming off a screen.

Prigioni's absence isn't an issue for the Clippers on the stat sheet, but more so for depth in the backcourt. Austin Rivers is dealing with a bruised left hand and did not play against the Magic, which means Chris Paul is the lone healthy point guard on the Clippers roster.

Playing on his third team in four years, Prigioni has played in 30 games for the Clippers this season, averaging 2.1 points per game in just under 14 minutes. When he joined the New York Knicks in 2012, he was a deadly three-point shooter at 41.4 percent in two and a half years as a Knick.
