Larry Sanders and Milwaukee Bucks Agree to 4-Year Extension

The Milwaukee Bucks have signed center Larry Sanders to a four-year contract extension.

Sanders reported the news himself via Twitter:

— Nappy G. (@LarrySanders) August 20, 2013 Sanders was drafted by the Bucks with the 15th overall selection in the 2010 NBA draft. After receiving limited playing time in each of his first two seasons, he enjoyed a breakout 2012-13 campaign, establishing himself as a key piece of the team's frontline.

The VCU product averaged 9.8 points and 9.5 rebounds while shooting better than 50 percent from the floor and blocking nearly three shots per game. He put up those numbers despite playing just 27 minutes per contest.   

Now that Milwaukee has made the long-term commitment, he's likely to receiver more minutes next year, which means he has a good chance at averaging a double-double.
