Kobe Bryant, Metta World Peace Join Lance, Te’o, A-Rod As Most Disliked Athletes

The Los Angeles Lakers have always been a polarizing organization, so seeing Kobe Bryant and Metta World Peace as two of the most disliked athletes in America in a Forbes list is no surprise whatsoever.

Metta and Kobe are the only pair of teammates on the list, although it seems like they've slipped a bit further down with a lot of debauchery going on in the sports world over the course of the past couple of years.

They join Manti Te'o, Lance Armstrong and Alex Rodriguez among other athletes whom the public just can't seem to stand.

Sure, Metta may have elbowed James Harden in the neck before the playoffs last year, but he's generally come across as a nice dude when he's not going off the cuff and completely killing his image for the hundredth time.

Besides, how can there be that much hate for a guy who has been on an episode of Yo Gabba Gabba! and has made a video where he has a bunch of kids give him advice on how to handle playing with his new teammates?



To me, he's definitely a guy who's easy to hate, but there's a lot of cuddliness in Metta when he's not a complete lunatic.
