Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Houston Rockets: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction

January 15th, 2016 by Andy Bailey Leave a reply »
Behind big performances from LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, the Cleveland Cavaliers (28-10) dominated the Houston Rockets (21-20), 91-77, Friday at the Toyota Center.

James played a complete game, scoring 19 points, grabbing seven boards and dishing out seven assists. Irving dropped 23 points on 9-of-17 shooting.

The real story, though, may have been the lack of effort from a Rockets team that looked disinterested about halfway through the first quarter.

Two players who somehow managed to rise above the lethargic performance were Dwight Howard (14 points and 11 rebounds) and Patrick Beverley (13 points and 3-of-4 shooting from three).

Houston's leading scorer this season, James Harden, had just 11 points on 2-of-10 shooting.

The Rockets will have a chance to redeem themselves when these teams meet again on March 29 in Cleveland.
