Watch Sean Avery and Jordin Tootoo Rumble in a Classic Hockey Fight

Sean Avery and Jordin Tootoo got into a good ol' fashioned hockey fight on Saturday in the first period as Tootoo's Nashville Predators took on Avery's New York Rangers.

Avery's Rangers got the victory in the 2-1 shootout, but I think it's safe to say he still lost to Tootoo.

Immediately upon exiting the penalty box, both players threw down their gloves and started to go at it. Left winger Avery appeared to try to surprise Tootoo, a right wing with about an inch disadvantage in height. Tootoo, apparently, was not surprised. Avery's glasses apparently didn't fool Tootoo, either.

In an interview after the game, Tootoo had this to say about Avery:

"He's a guy that likes to blab and he just doesn't come through with his actions."

Tootoo also made some remarks alluding to Avery going after guys when they're on their last legs and he's still fresh.

The fight might take a little sting out of the fact that the Predators are currently last in the Central Division.

Tootoo flashed the two twos after the fight. I wonder if Avery said something about him being fit to wear a tutu...that would have been a good one ...
