Philadelphia Flyer Fans Relentless In The Pursuit Of Idiocy

Or wait, nevermind.

During a Game One that saw their beloved Flyers steamroll a lackluster Montreal Canadiens team, many members of the Canadian media covering the game couldn't get away from being harassed by fanatical Flyer fans.

Some Flyer fans pulled the plug on a pre-game broadcast by Radio-Canada while other Flyer fans harassed another Canadian TV crew, presumably Hockey Night In Canada.

Patrick Hickey of the Montreal Gazette found his very own car, a 1999 Honda Accord, vandalized and dumped on by Flyer fans simply because he had Quebec license plates.

Not only were his license plates gone, his bug deflector was too, and half a hubcap.

And while there were many fans with Canadiens jerseys on, none of them escaped the Wachovia Center without being harassed and bumped around by rowdy, and sometimes ignorant Flyer fans.

Wow, such class, reminds me of Pittsburgh fans and Washington fans, so gracious in the way that they won.

Wait, they lost and they didn't even raise this much of a fuss.

Granted, I'm a Habs fan who watched as looters ...
