Phiadelphia Flyers Trade Rumors: Is John Madden Philadelphia Bound?

As we move closer and closer to the February 28 trade deadline, one has to wonder: What ARE the Flyers going to do? When are they going to pull the trigger on a trade?

For whatever reason, there are many out there who think Jarome Iginla will still somehow be wearing Orange and Black, but it just doesn't make sense.

The Flyers would have to give up an incredible amount for that sort of return, and players like JvR and Zherdev would almost certainly be gone.

Would it be worth it to blow the roster up to fit him under? I'm not so sure.

On a more reasonable note, there has been speculation that the Flyers are interested in Minnesota forward John Madden. 

Madden spent nine years with the New Jersey Devils, before signing as a free agent with the Chicago Blackhawks last year, of whom he won the Stanley Cup with.

Becoming a free agent again, Madden signed a one year deal with Minnesota. 

Chances are, Madden won't be signing an extension with Minnesota and since his contract is up in a few short months, this could make him potential trade bait.
