NHL Entry Draft: How About Erik Gudbranson Or Cam Fowler?

In the upcoming NHL Entry Draft, one thing is for sure; Taylor Hall and Tyler Seguin won't make it outside the top two picks.

I think most can agree with that.

What everyone is debating is whether the Oilers will take Taylor or Tyler with the No. 1 overall pick, and it's been picked apart for months.

I expect the Oilers will take Taylor Hall and it will turn out to be a mistake as Seguin will prove to be more productive as an NHL'er, but I've been wrong (many times) before.

But how about who will be picked No. 3 and No. 4?

It's apparent that Cam Fowler, of the Windsor Spitfires, has slipped from being a sure thing at No. 3 to possibly the five spot. I don't think he'll slip to five, but his selection spot at three isn't as solid as it once was.

A lot of scouts and people who get paid to put out "Mock Drafts" are throwing around Erik Gudbranson of the Kingston Frontenacs as the No. 3 pick right now.

This isn't news to most hockey followers, but it should be worth noting that many once argued that Fowler could challenge for the No. 1 against Hall and Seguin. A lot of people even have Brandon Gormley a ...
