Timber-Wolf: Getting The Top Three Picks For The Minnesota Timberwolves

Ha ha, this is merely for fun, seeing that there's hardly any news going around the world about the Minnesota Timberwolves, but I'd like to point out that this scenario is possible if other teams cooperate.

The 2010 NBA draft features a much deeper draft than the last years, featuring a plethora of big men, great wing players, and one soon to be elite point guard in the NBA, John Wall.

Currently, I would guess that just about everyone's draft board would go in this order as far as the first three picks..

 

1) John Wall: A 6'4'' point guard with incredible athleticism and speed. He has above average court vision even for NBA point guard standards. Comparison: Russell Westbrook with better court vision/fundamentals

2) Evan Turner: A 6'7'' combo guard that truly puts the term "combo guard" to use. A player that can play three positions, shoot the ball, create opportunities for himself and others, and defend his position(s) well. Comparison: Brandon Roy 2.0

3) Demarcus Cousins: a 6'11'' big man that puts pressure on defenders with post moves, incredible intensity, and fundamentals that is unrivaled for someone ...
