NHL All-Stars Skills Competition Video: Watch Patrick Kane’s Sick Diving Goal

Patrick Kane delivered a goal for the ages on Saturday night, courtesy of the NHL All-Star Skills Competition.

The Chicago Blackhawks star was taking part in the Breakaway Challenge, giving the league's best scorers the chance to show off what they can do one-on-one against the goalie. 

Kane didn't disappoint, taking a page out of NBA star Dwight Howard's Slam Dunk Contest book. He donned a Superman cape and Hanson brother glasses, then promptly showed us all why he deserved the cape, sliding to the ice with the puck near his hand. 

He then seamlessly glided the puck back to his outstretched stick, and pushed the puck past a half-hearted Brian Elliott effort as the crowd went wild. 

Sure, the goal wasn't exactly something you'd see in a game (if he pulled a stunt like that in a game, odds are good he'd have a run-in with the opposing team's enforcers shortly thereafter), but it delivered the kind of entertainment we want to see from the league's biggest stars.
