The Colorado Avalanche wrapped up a shaky preseason (2-5-0) Sunday by making the final cuts to their roster. Among them were defenseman Colby Cohen and forwards Ryan Stoa and Patrick Bordeleau.

The Centers

12 Kevin Porter

11 Philippe Dupuis

The strength of the team, the focal point of Colorado's offense will once again be the tandem of Paul Stastny and Matt Duchene, who combined for 134 points a season ago.

The only change from the start of last year is Kevin Porter, who the Avs acquired from Phoenix at last year's trade deadline.  Porter is a very versatile center who will be used both on the power play and penalty kill, and has potential to be bumped up and used as a left wing on one of the scoring lines.
