New York Rangers Update: Todd White Waived, Ryan Callahan Hurt, and Much More

Here are a few quick hits regarding tonight's Rangers-Devils game.

 

Todd White

For the second time this season, the New York Rangers have placed veteran forward Todd White on waivers. It is expected that he clears waivers, and will most likely be placed in the minors to make roster space for the return of Marian Gaborik.

 

Ryan Callahan

During the first period of Thursday's game Callahan was checked head-first into the boards. He did not leave the game, but he was in pain. According to Andrew Gross (The Record), Ryan Callahan will not play tonight for the Rangers. His neck is sore from the hit, and he will sit out against the Devils.

 

Ruslan Fedotenko

According to Andrew Gross, Ruslan Fedotenko will be a game-time decision. He told the media that he felt "fine" after taking a hit to the head against the Flyers, but Rangers head coach John Tortorella has marked Fedotenko as a game-time decision.
