John Scott to Canadiens: Latest Trade Details, Comments and Reaction

In a three-team deal, according TSN, the Arizona Coyotes have traded forward John Scott and defenseman Victor Bartley, who they had just acquired from the Nashville Predators, to the Montreal Canadiens for defenseman Jarred Tinordi and a minor leaguer. The Coyotes announced the deal later Friday. 

Bartley was traded to the Coyotes by the Predators for defenseman Stefan Elliott. According to ESPN's Pierre LeBrun, the minor league player the Coyotes will be acquiring is forward Stefan Fournier.

After appearing in just 11 games this season, Scott was selected to the NHL All-Star Game as a captain for the Pacific Division.

The 33-year-old forward has been a journeyman over his first eight years in the NHL, playing with six teams. Scott was in his first year with the Coyotes, recording one assist in 11 games with the team.
