Five Reasons Why the Sharks Will Win Tonight

Overcome: The word that has defined the Sharks playoff run thus far is probably starting to sound a bit redundant, especially to all non-Shark supporting hockey fans. And while winning a postseason series after dropping the first two games at home is an arduous task, if there is any team capable of doing it, it would have to be the Sharks. Why? Because the last three times the Sharks dropped the opening two games of a series at home saw them force a game six. And one of those series came in their only other Western Conference appearance back in 2004. San Jose came back to tie that series against the Calgary Flames with wins in games 3 and 4 at Calgary to tie the series 2-2. While it is true that San Jose lost all three of these series in six games, the fact remains that they found away to battle back and at the very least made those series interesting. In fact, in the series against Dallas back in 2008, the Sharks were an thrilling 4OT winner away from forcing a seventh game back in San Jose after being down 3-0 in that series.
