ESPN’s Linda Cohn to Try Out for Spot as Florida Panthers’ Practice Goalie

Linda Cohn has been providing sports highlights for years on the set of ESPN's SportsCenter, but on Monday she will hope to make a few of her own on the ice.

According to the South Florida Sun Sentinel's Craig Davis, Cohn was one of 60 people invited to participate in the Florida Panthers' "Goal of a Lifetime" contest. Davis noted that there were 1,500 applicants.

The winner of the contest will serve as the Panthers' backup practice goalie for a day as well as win other cool prizes. Two finalists will also compete in a shootout with former Panthers players during intermission of a game.
