Daily Fantasy Hockey 2015: NHL DraftKings Ideal Lineup Picks for March 16

The NHL playoff race is really starting to tighten up, and there are only a few more spots up for grabs. There are four important matchups Monday night, including Montreal vs. Tampa Bay and Los Angeles vs. Arizona.

Los Angeles needs to pick up points to keep its playoff dreams intact, and both Montreal and Tampa are trying to secure a top spot in the division. With only four games, you will have to be careful about your picks, because you want to avoid choosing players who could cancel the other out.

As always there is a $50,000 salary cap to keep in mind, so here are some ideal lineup choices for March 16.



 

Center: Jeff Carter, Los Angeles Kings ($7,000) and David Desharnais, Montreal Canadiens ($3,400)



Jeff Carter has been one of the Los Angeles Kings' top players of late, and he could really break out against the Arizona Coyotes. Carter has 24 goals and 52 points in 68 games, and there is a good chance he'll continue his hot streak Monday night. He has six goals in his last 10 games and averaged 3.3 fantasy points per game during that span.
