Don’t Start Proclaiming This Series Is Over Just Yet

Yes it's incredibly exciting that the Flyers showed no sign of exhaustion against Montreal coming off the four straight wins against Boston, including the 3-0 deficit in Game 7. 

But just because they cruised by Montreal 6-0 last night, don't for a second think this series is over.

Last round certainly proved that one.

In Game One against Pittsburgh, a 6-3 loss, Montreal out-shot Pittsburgh.

However Pittsburgh's four for four on the power play, and Halak letting up five goals on 18 shots, was the reason for the defeat.

In Game one against Philadelphia, a 6-0 loss, Montreal again out-shot their opponent, but the Flyers went two for four on the power play, and Halak was yanked again after letting up four goals on 13 shots.

Montreal has also been blown out in previous playoff games as well: Game Three against Washington (5-1), and Game Four against Washington (6-3).

They know how to get over these types of games otherwise they wouldn't be here right now.
