The 2010 edition of NHL Free Agency is now off with a bang. Despite plenty of trades throughout the NHL Draft last weekend and then many more over the past week, hundreds of hockey players are now out on the market.
As the reports of trades, signings, and re-signings steadily flow in, we'll be keeping track of each team's new additions, departing players, and re-signings. Each team will be sorted into three categories: "acquisitions," "losses," and "re-signings", including moves made before today.
Traded draft picks will not be included, however, trades that included both players and draft picks will appear with just the players involved listed. The blog will continue to be updated live, so continue to check in to see the latest moves by your team. Due to the fact that NHL free agency is such a hectic time, I may miss some moves, so feel free to comment with changes.
Analysis of major moves on Day One will be posted tomorrow morning.
