Why This Summer Is LeBron Or Bust For The Knicks

There is a rare breed of players in sports. The players who can change a franchise, city, and the lives of those in it.

LeBron James is one of those players, and the Knicks players, fans, and management know it.

Every player who has played for the Knicks since 2008 knows very well that they were nothing but a piece to the LeBron James puzzle.

Jamal Crawford, Zach Randolph, Al Harrington, Tracy McGrady, Nate Robinson, Jared Jeffries; they all have one thing in common. They know that they were either brought to New York for their expiring contracts or driven away because their contract lasted beyond "The Holy Summer".

The New York Knicks have spent two years disposing of some of their best players for just a few bucks towards a summer that can change the history of their franchise.

Ever since, Nov. 21, 2008 the day this race to get under the cap started, Knick fans have had just one name in mind: LeBron James.

Sure Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade, Amare Stoudemire, Dirk Nowitzki, or Joe Johnson would also be nice, but none of them are LeBron James.
