Warriors Celebrate Anniversary of Klay Thompson’s Huge Game, Kings Don’t Approve

On January 23, 2015, Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson went off against the Sacramento Kings, putting up an NBA-record 37 points in the third quarter on his way to a 52-point game.

An unforgettable performance like that is worthy of celebrating every year when the anniversary comes around. When Saturday—the one-year anniversary—arrived, Golden State honored the legendary shooting performance on social media.

Being on the receiving end of that incredible shooting display, the Kings weren't really feeling the Warriors' tweet:

It will always be "too soon" for Sacramento.
