Tyreke Evans Injury: Updates on Pelicans Guard’s Status, Likely Return Date

New Orleans Pelicans guard-forward Tyreke Evans left Saturday night's preseason opener against the Houston Rockets after suffering an apparent left ankle injury in the second quarter.

Though no word on Evans' status has come from New Orleans, John Reid of the Times-Picayune reported that the situation looked dire on the court:
