Portland Trail Blazers rookie guard C.J. McCollum will miss an indeterminate period after suffering a fracture to the fifth metatarsal bone in his left foot Saturday in practice, the team announced.
X-ray's confirm Portland G CJ McCollum sustained a fractured 5th metatarsal bone in his left foot at practice on Saturday at the PF.

McCollum will undergo surgery to fix the injury, though the Trail Blazers are yet to set a date for the procedure:
A date for surgery has not been determined. Prognosis for his return will be made post surgery.

The date of his surgery will likely depend on how much swelling he has in the foot. He will undergo a pre-surgery phase in the interim, where trainers and team doctors will work on getting swelling down and preparing his foot for surgery.
