The Cleveland Cavaliers trailed for nearly the entire game Tuesday against the Toronto Raptors, but a gritty fourth quarter spurred the 105-101 victory and extended the team's hot streak to eight straight wins.
LeBron James led all scorers with 35 points, and his three-pointer in the final minute snapped a 99-99 tie. Kevin Love drilled the tying three-pointer shortly before that on his way to 17 points and nine boards.
Jonas Valanciunas notched 18 points and 15 boards for Toronto. Terrence Ross also scored 18. Kyle Lowry piled up 16 points and 14 assists, but a couple of missteps down the stretch cost the Raptors a chance at the W. The team shot 65 percent in a 63-point first half, but they finished up with a 13-point fourth quarter.
The Raptors (16-6) will head home and rest up ahead of a meeting with the Indiana Pacers on Dec. 12. The Cavaliers (13-7) will pay a visit to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Dec. 11 in a matchup on TNT.
