Toronto Raptors forward Terrence Ross underwent surgery to remove bone spurs from his ankle. No time table was set for his return.

Ross Undergoes Surgery Saturday, May 23 An NBA.com press release noted Saturday that Ross underwent the surgery “to remove bone spurs and loose bodies from his left ankle.” He will rehab back in Toronto, although there is no definitive date for a return to basketball activities.

Ross played all 82 games this season and averaged 9.8 points and 2.8 rebounds per game behind a 37.2 percent shooting from three-point range.

The fact that bone spurs and loose bodies were in Ross’ ankle in the first place probably didn’t help his play this year, especially late in the postseason loss to the Washington Wizards. Ross only scored in double figures one time in what was ultimately a Washington sweep.
