D'Antoni, Walton on Suns' Initial List of Candidates

According to ESPN.com's Marc Stein, names on Phoenix's radar include Golden State Warriors assistant Luke Walton, Philadelphia 76ers assistant and former Suns boss Mike D'Antoni and former Suns star Dan Majerle, who is the head coach of the Grand Canyon Antelopes.
However, Stein cautioned that "the Suns would be considered an extremely long shot to lure Walton from his post with the Warriors."
Stein added that owner Robert Sarver has "strong interest" in former Suns point guard and two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash as a potential replacement option, "but sources continue to say Nash is not interested in going into full-time coaching at this time."
