Steve Nash Calls Out Twitter Troll, References Temecula

Steve Nash is a 41-year-old who has recently been plagued by injuries, but the Los Angeles Lakers point guard is not afraid to defend himself.

On Tuesday afternoon, Nash sent out a tweet about the Manchester City-Barcelona match:

That seems like a pretty innocent tweet, right? Well, for some reason, it pushed somebody over the edge.

Some Twitter troll unleashed on Nash, using about as many profanities as he could fit in a tweet. Nash didn't take kindly to that.

The Temecula reference is a nice touch. For those who are unaware of the reference, it goes back to a Twitter beef from last year. Two people got into a big argument, with Kobe Bryant's on-court value to the Lakers coming up in the conversation. The two then agreed to meet in Temecula, California, to settle the beef (one showed up, one did not). When Bryant heard about the situation, he laughed and said that the Mamba Army "take after their captain."

Now, Nash wants to use Temecula to settle a beef of his own.
