Stephen Curry Hits Career-High 7 Three-Pointers in 1st Quarter vs. Wizards

After the first quarter of the Golden State Warriors' matchup with the Washington Wizards on Wednesday, reigning MVP Stephen Curry was on pace to hit the century mark all by himself. He finished the quarter 9-of-10 from the field for 25 points.

Curry also went 7-of-8 from three-point range, with the seven made three-pointers a career high for a single quarter, per Fox Sports Live:



According to the Warriors' Twitter account, Curry's teammate Klay Thompson owns the franchise record for most threes in a quarter (nine), which came in his 37-point outburst in the third quarter of a 126-101 win over the Sacramento Kings.

Seemingly everything went right for the Curry early on against the Wizards.
