Spurs Fan Gets Cornrows After Promoting Kawhi Leonard for All-Star Game

January 23rd, 2016 by Kyle Newport Leave a reply »

Wanting to help Kawhi Leonard get voted into the 2016 NBA All-Star Game starting lineup, this fan came up with a unique way to try to get the San Antonio Spurs forward some votes via Twitter.

It worked. And he had to follow through.

Brayden Neubauer, who is a writer for SB Nation's Pounding the Rock, wrote a little more than a week ago that he would get cornrows if his tweet was retweeted 12,000 times and got Leonard into the Western Conference starting lineup.

When the starters were announced this week, guess who was in the lineup?

That meant it was time for a new hairdo (and hair extensions):

Now that's a true fan.
