It's true that by the time late June rolls around, and the actual NBA draft takes place, the media will have you believing that John Wall is Magic Johnson, Jesus, and The Beatles all rolled into one.

If tonight's draft lottery being marketed as the John Wall sweepstakes is any indication, the next month is going to be a fun but often annoying ride.

It's not like we haven't been through the ringer with this Wall character for some time now.

Yes, the hype machine has been in full force since November when Wall first stepped on the court for John Calipari's Kentucky Wildcats. He was donned as the second coming of something or somebody.

But if it were only so simple.
