The Los Angeles Clippers pulled away from the San Antonio Spurs in the fourth quarter Thursday night to seize a comfortable 105-86 win at Staples Center. Both teams were missing key players to injury, including Blake Griffin, Jeff Green and Austin Rivers for the Clippers and Kawhi Leonard and Manu Ginobili for the Spurs.

Because of the All-Star break, It was the first time both teams had played in at least a week, and it showed. San Antonio had a hard time getting into its offensive sets and was ice-cold from outside for most of the contest, going 4-of-17 from three-point range. Los Angeles, meanwhile, made some careless mistakes with the ball and ended with 18 turnovers.

The biggest difference-maker in the contest was Chris Paul. The Clippers superstar point guard scored 26 of his 28 points in the second half, including several buckets and free throws once the Spurs narrowed the gap to five points early in the fourth quarter. DeAndre Jordan also chipped in nine points and 17 rebounds, and J.J. Redick notched 17 points.
