Report: Kings, Pacers Discussing Trade Involving Gay Saturday, July 2 On Saturday, ESPN.com's Marc Stein reported the Kings and Indiana Pacers have discussed a trade involving Gay. Stein added that Sacramento is targeting Monta Ellis in the deal but Indiana prefers to send Rodney Stuckey the other way.

According to Sam Amick of USA Today, however, a source indicated that the Kings are not interested in Ellis or Stuckey.

Stein also reported that Gay is among the most readily available veterans on the trade market, along with Milwaukee Bucks big man Greg Monroe.

While Gay has never been named to an All-Star team, he has been among the most consistent scorers in the NBA during his 10-year career with the Memphis Grizzlies, Toronto Raptors and Kings.
