Anthony Tolliver Reportedly to Sign with Kings: Contract Details, Reaction

Free-agent veteran forward Anthony Tolliver has reportedly signed a two-year contract with the Sacramento Kings, Shams Charania of The Vertical reported Saturday.  

Sam Amick of USA Today confirmed Charania's report and added that the contract is worth $16 million with $2 million guaranteed in the second year of the deal. 

Over his eight-year career, Tolliver has been a reserve player with eight different teams. Last year he averaged 5.3 points per game with the Detroit Pistons.

He's averaged more than 6.7 points per game just once in the NBA, and it was early in his career when he put up 12.3 points per night in 44 games with the Golden State Warriors in 2009-10. 

While his numbers leave something to be desired, Tolliver made his name in the league as a big man capable of stretching the floor. 

At 6'8", 240 pounds, he is capable of being physical near the basket, but he's made his biggest impact by shooting the three.
