According to the Associated Press, shooting guard and small forward Josh Howard has decided to re-sign with the Washington Wizards. The terms of the deal were not disclosed and it was reported from a person similar with the situation.

Howard was originally traded to the Wizards during the trade deadline in exchange for Caron Butler after playing with the Dallas Mavericks. However, Howard did not play much as he had to have surgery and missed six-to-eight months of the season.

Howard has averaged over 15 points-per-game for his career and looks to help out Washington coming into the 2010-11 season. The team has really high hopes with the likes of John Wall, Al Thornton, Gilbert Arenas, Andray Blatche, Javale McGee, and more.
