The United States’ commander in chief may be a volume shooter, but he did manage to pull out a dagger against the Washington Wizards at the White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday.

President Barack Obama joined local youngsters, Paul Pierce and the Wizards for the annual shootaround at the White House basketball court.

President Obama received some high-fives, but he was mainly concerned with letting Paul Pierce know about it.

“That’s three in a row!” Obama shouted at Pierce. “Would you like a second?”

Pierce responded with a high-five, presumably stowing this moment deep down for later retribution in the "P-I-G" contest.

Now, we must give the president his due for getting buckets. Of all commodities in this life, buckets are among the most valuable, and by NBA Jam standards, he was on fire.
