Patterson a Hot Commodity Despite Down Season

Bobby Marks of The Vertical wrote Patterson is a player teams "covet" as they attempt to fill a stretch-4 role. The 26-year-old is averaging 6.3 points and 4.2 rebounds per game this season.
Those numbers rank at or right around his career lows, as Patterson is shooting a disconcerting 39.5 percent from the field. He's managed to keep his three-point percentage (34.8) right around league average, but it's been a constant struggle.
“When my three isn’t falling, I tend to run myself off the line and try to do too much—penetrate and attack the basket and overthink at times, rather than keep letting it fly,” he said in December, per Eric Koreen of the National Post. “Eventually it’ll fall in, it just takes time.
