Russell Westbrook scored 35 points to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to an 85-83 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center on Wednesday night.

The Thunder improved to 4-0 with the win while the Clippers suffered their first loss of the season to drop to 3-1.

As the score indicates, this game was not exactly pretty.

Despite Westbrook's scoring output, the guard committed 10 turnovers and misfired on all seven of his three-point attempts.

Not one other Oklahoma City player scored in double figures, and as a team, the Thunder shot just 40.5 percent from the floor.

Chris Paul led Los Angeles with 15 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists and six steals, but he also had some trouble taking care of the ball with five turnovers.

Blake Griffin scored 14 points and shot just 7-of-21 from the field, missing all three of his free-throw tries.

The Clippers shot 39.1 percent as a team.

The Thunder will take on former mainstay Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena on Thursday night.
