The New Orleans Pelicans brought in the Oklahoma City Thunder Tuesday, and they spoiled Kevin Durant's return from a foot injury with a gritty 112-104 victory.

Durant led OKC with 27 points on 9-of-18 shooting, and Russell Westbrook added 21 points, but the dynamic duo also combined for 12 of the team's 17 turnovers.

Tyreke Evans scored 15 straight points in the fourth quarter on his way to a game-high 30. Anthony Davis romped to 25 points, 10 boards, four blocks and six steals, which tied his career best. Jrue Holiday scored 16 and dished 10 dimes, while Ryan Anderson added 23 and 11 rebounds in a huge effort off the bench.

Having snapped a three-game skid with the win, the Pelicans (8-8) face a tall test on Dec. 4 when they play at the Golden State Warriors on national TV and kick off a three-game West Coast road trip.

The Thunder fall to 5-13 but draw a cushy matchup in the form of the winless Philadelphia 76ers on Dec. 5 in Philly.
