NBA Trade Rumors: What Do Boston Celtics Need?

Well, getting point guard Rajon Rondo back on the court would certainly help.

Rondo's been out four games so far, mainly due to a sprained left ankle.

In his absence Saturday, the Celtics lost in Orlando to the reconfigured Magic, 86-78 (replacement Nate Robinson shot 2-for-15 in the game).

It also appears Rondo most likely will be out for more than two weeks, according to Comcast SportsNet New England.

"He's not going to make it back in two weeks; it doesn't sound like it," (coach Doc) Rivers said.  "He ran the other day, but he only ran straight. That's not his game. We're going to wait. After the (Philadelphia) game, he voiced some frustration about it. I just said, 'you just have to be patient.'"

Paul Pierce has acted more as a point-forward at times in Rondo's absence, but if Rondo misses significant time and the Celtics start sliding quickly, the Celtics might look for a point guard to fill in.
