NBA Slam Dunk 2012 Video: Watch Paul George’s Glow-in-the-Dark ‘Tron’ Dunk

There have been so many different things done over the years at the NBA All-Star festivities that Indiana Pacers guard Paul George had to pull out the big guns to make himself look unique amongst his opponents at the 2012 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.

To blow all of our minds, George decided to shut off all the lights besides for some black lights that he had set up on the court.

Once they were turned on, only George was glowing as he covered his jersey in glow-in-the-dark strips of tape.

The announcers labeled the spectacle  "The 'Tron' Dunk," as the music from the movie was playing in the background to emphasize the glowing situation going with George's uniform.

With the runway created by black lights, all one could see is a glow running to the rim, which resulted in a 360° slam dunk by George.

While his dunk wasn't all that impressive, it was the theatrical performance that George provided that made it quite worth watching.

The dunk was much different that what anyone else did, as mostly everyone decided to jump over things—which is becoming quite an old gimmick in this competition.
