NBA Slam Dunk 2012 Video: Watch Jeremy Evans’ Winning Double Dunk

The Utah Jazz' Jeremy Evans may have saved the NBA Slam Dunk Contest with his two-ball dunk over teammate Gordon Hayward in the second round of the dunk contest on Saturday night that ended up winning it all for him.

Hayward sat in a chair, then threw two basketballs over his head to a flying Evans, who jumped over him and dunked both balls in the basket one after the other.

It was an obvious choice for Dunk of the Night off the bat, as the dunk contest had been quite a bore up to that point.

Analyst Shaquille O'Neal quickly asked whether or not that was one of the top-10 best dunks in Slam Dunk Contest history and was quickly shut down by Reggie Miller and Co., as he should have.

Earlier, Chase Budinger had jumped over a 5'9" P. Diddy and dunked the basketball.  The 6'8" Hayward was sitting in a rather large chair, making him relatively about the same size as P. Diddy standing up.  Evans managed to dunk two balls with his long wingspan over about the same height Budinger had jumped over with just one ball.
