NBA Rumors: Jeremy Lin’s Once Bright Future Clouded by NY Knicks Upheaval

If you have fond memories of Linsanity, you will be pleased to know that Jeremy Lin will again dominate NBA chatter as soon as free agency begins. 

The New York Times' Howard Beck reports that the recent upheaval on the team clouds the future of America's favorite success story. 

Beck writes: 

Jeremy Lin is auditioning too, for the entire league, as a free-agent-to-be. A few weeks ago, it seemed a certainty that the Knicks would re-sign him, even if they had to use their entire midlevel exception. But D'Antoni is gone, the offense is changing and everyone has an interim title. A new coach and general manager could decide to spend the money elsewhere.

It seems like decades ago, but Jeremy Lin once dominated the NBA landscape and was all that we wanted to talk about. 



Teams could only stare in Manhattan's direction and feel a wave of jealousy that the Knicks had won the point guard lottery in striking Linsanity gold. 

Some teams must have wondered how they missed Lin while other may have been recalling how he slipped through their fingers.
