NBA Free Agent Rumors: LeBron James Update, Al Jefferson’s Availability

The most important NBA off-season in history is kicking into gear, and with LeBron mania gaining steam, I'm going to produce an on-going series providing updates on the trade rumors and the speculation surrounding LeBron, D-Wade, Chris Bosh, Joe Johnson and other free agents.

 

LeBron And Bosh "Leaning Heavily Toward The Bulls"

The New York Times reported an unidentified NBA executive believes, from discussions with other executives, that LeBron James is leaning toward joining the Bulls alongside Chris Bosh.  

This is the first credible rumor of the two pairing in Chicago with Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah's Bulls.  Unless Jalen Rose's twitter page counts as a credible source.  

LeBron is set to meet with five teams--the Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, New York Knicks, and the L.A. Clippers.  They will be given a chance to "woo" LeBron, and persuade James to sign.  According to the New York Times' source--the interviews are merely a formality, implying Chicago will win out regardless.
