NBA Draft: Top Blunders of the 21st Century

Being a New York native, I can't help but notice the display that Milwaukee's Brandon Jennings is putting on.

I cringed when the Knicks announced Jordan Hill over Demar DeRozan and Brandon Jennings. Although it is very early in the season, it seems to be on the fast track to being one of the worst passes of the 21st century.

The Hill over Jennings move is not on my list yet, but it will be on here someday.

Here is a list of the Top 5 NBA Draft Blunders of the 21st Century.

 

5. 2003 NBA Draft: Darko Milicic over Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, and Dwyane Wade.

Explanation: This wasn't on the list until Detroit made it obvious it intends to be involved in the 2010 Free Agent chase. The Pistons won the title in 03-04, so it was excused.  But they are in the hunt for Bosh, whom they could have had from the beginning.  Darko is playing on the Knicks and it makes a New Yorker realize how bad things really are. If Darko is around next year and LeBron lands in NY, he can flash the ring that he earned for sitting on the bench.
