NBA Draft: Evan Turner Wants to Be in the Hall of Fame

Maybe someday he will.

In a year far from now, we may see an older Evan Turner leaning on a podium, telling of his glory days in the NBA, and thanking the organization and all the people that brought him to where he is.

The Washington Wizards could be that organization.

That team that gives Turner his chance in the NBA. If they do not think he is worthy of the No. 1 pick, then Philly will welcome him in with open arms.

As of now, that is the most likely scenario. Turner will be paired with Iggy, and will attempt to give the 76ers the lift they need for a ticket to the postseason.

This decision could very well be a costly one.

The media has hyped up John Wall since he was on his way to Kentucky to be paired with John Calipari, who is becoming more and more hyped in his own right.

Hype is a good and bad thing in sports. It draws more attention to the NBA, with the young superstars to be joining the ranks of those who are already established in the pros.
