Nate Robinson Video: Watch Bulls Guard’s Hilarious Jump Ball Violation

When you are only 5'9", you have to get creative in the way you play basketball.

In the fourth quarter of Friday's game between the Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors, Nate Robinson was forced to battle the 6'8" Rudy Gay on a jump ball.

Gay is almost a foot taller than the undersized guard.

Instead of attempting to tip the ball, as he surely knew he was about to be crushed and thoroughly embarrassed, Robinson decided to give up on the jump and go after possession after Gay made contact.

Unfortunately, this resulted in a jump ball violation, and Toronto was given possession.

This ended up being an important play, as the Raptors kept control of the ball late in a close game. They went on to earn a 97-88 win behind 23 points by Gay and 24 by Amir Johnson.

Although Toronto has been eliminated from playoff contention, this will hurt Chicago's seed in the postseason.

Still, this play was a great example of the type of player Robinson is. The former Slam Dunk Contest winner can be incredibly entertaining and fun to watch, especially when he is scoring points in bunches or throwing down big dunks.
