Phoenix Suns forward Mirza Teletovic suffered a sprained left ankle Tuesday night against the Indiana Pacers, according to the team's official Twitter account.

Teletovic Ruled Out For Remainder of Game  Tuesday, Jan. 19 This is the first time all season Teletovic has been truly bothered by an injury. He appeared in the team's first 42 games without a hitch and has posted career-best numbers during his first year in the desert. 

Entering Tuesday night, Teletovic was averaging a career-high 9.9 points on 43.4 percent shooting from the field and 42.9 percent shooting from three—a mark that ranks tops among power forwards, per ESPN.com.

Teletovic's player efficiency rating has also ticked up to a personal-best 17.1, per Basketball-Reference.com, which represents a 3.4-point improvement over his career average.
