Miami Heat: Is Chris Bosh Overrated or Underappreciated?

Since joining the new star studded Miami Heat, Chris Bosh has almost been overlooked when it comes to discussions regarding the team and their current success.  It's not difficult to see why, as LeBron James and Dwyane Wade can cast pretty large shadows being two of the top players in the NBA.

And right now, Chris Bosh is struggling to get out of their shadows and into his own light, as many around the league, including Heat fans themselves, are currently selling short the power forward on his true worth.

Some are even calling him overrated. Many say he's overpaid. Heat fans wanted him traded in the beginning of the season, thinking he wasn't the right piece for this team.

Well I got news for all Chris Bosh detractors out there—that overrated power forward is currently averaging 18 points and eight rebounds per game, and without those points and rebounds on a nightly basis the Miami Heat would not be where they are now.

But, the points and the rebounds are not even his biggest contribution. Bosh's best asset is simply his presence. As a 6'11" forward who can shoot from virtually anywhere, including the occasional three ball ...
